Jungle safari In Nepal

Jungle safari is one of popular attraction in Nepal. There are many national park and wild life camps. Where you can see and enjoy wild animals. Some of the parks are away from the public road so it takes time to go there however if you manage to visit there you will be in wild life paradise where you can see many different animals then usualy you can see at the zoo or regular national Parks. we would like to recommend one of the convenient safari park, which gives you lots of fun on a jungle safari.Jungle safari Nepal is not just known for its majestic mountains but also its tropical jungles and vast grasslands. The Chitwan National Park and Bardiya National Park are natural habitat to the rare one horned Asiatic Rhinos, Royal Bengal Tigers, and Gangetic Dolphins. Chitwan and Bardiya national Parks in Nepal have their own charm and heritage. The Chitwan National Park was once a private hunting ground for the Rana Maharajas of Nepal. Lying in the immediate foothills of Himalayas the 932 square Kilometer was marked as a protected area in 1973. The park was inscribed into the UNESCO world heritage site in 1984. The Chitwan national park further extends to border Parsa Wildlife Reserve and Valmiki National Park in India forming an outstanding example of transnational conservation effort. The national parks attract thousands of visitors each year and caters host of jungle activities. Jeep safari Private safari operators in Chitwan and Bardiya take visitors inside the national park on modified Land Rover jeeps for animal sightings. The drive is through the tall Sal forest and grasslands on cart-tracks or the jungle fire line. Jeep safari is a great way to cover vast distance inside the national park or if you are hesitant to walk. Jungle walks Guided by trained and experienced local naturalists, jungle walks quietly takes visitors inside the national park for sightseeing and leisure. Often conducted in early mornings or afternoon, these walks usually last from an hour to two depending on your time availability and desire. Packed lunches and water can be taken inside the park. Bird watching For a long time Nepal's lowlands have been seasonal home to migrating Siberian birds. During winter when temperature drops to sub-freezing these birds cover great distances to arrive in Nepal's relatively warmer winter. Besides these migratory birds, the jungle of Chitwan is also home to numerous other species of birds. Bird conservation enthusiasts and experts offer guided tour inside the national park during winter months for birdwatching. If patience is your virtue, go bird watching in Chitwan. Canoeing Chitwan and Bardiya are drained by Rapti, Reu, Narayani, Babai, and Karnali. In Chitwan, the mellow current of Rapti and Reu in winter months offers great opportunity for canoeing on local dugout canoe. River banks provide refuge and shelter for numerous species therefore canoeing offers s good possibility for animal sightings. In addition, larger rivers like Narayani and Karnali offers other forms of water sports like jet-skiing, rafting or kayaking. Rides of small steamers or motor propelled boats can be arranger for anyone wishing to explore deeper into these rivers and surroundings. Elephant back safaris Elephant back safari is fun way to explore smaller catchments inside the national park or in the community forest marked as buffer zone. The trained elephants are fixed with comfortable and secure seating. The trained local mahout will take you inside tall grasses and shrubs, across rivers, and on sandy banks where rhinos are mostly sighted. Later, you can feed the elephant, indulge in elephant bathing, or even buy/sponsor an elephant for rest of your life! In addition, Meghauli in Chitwan is also host to Annual Elephant Polo Championship. Chitawan wild Safari camp

Chitawan safari park is one of the oldest park in Nepal. This is located in the southern part of the country low land Tarai belt. It is located half way to Pokhara and Kathmandu by road and it is the ending point of river Rafting. You can enter the Jungle on the back of an Elephant. or drive off road vehicles. You can watch native birds singing there too. You can watch many wild animal including Tigers. There is Elephant farm where you can even touch and play with Elephants. Close to the park are some rivers where you can boat only on a piece of loaf wood what a challenge?!!
